Yes, i am truly blessed with flowers surrounding my area due to the mother-in-law. I wish to purchase a micro lens, but with a 4-month baby, and a Pizza Hut salary, it almost seems out of the question.....right now. However, the zoom lens has got me some nice interesting shots, and being an artist, i hope to bring the passion to photography with different angles and perspectives in life.

Welcome to DPS, I like the second shot a lot but, the third on really stands out for me. Love that you found something beuatiful in what is presumably an urban setting. Nice work and looking forward to more.

Welcome!!! The first thing you are doing right is taking pictures in the first place. Don't set to high of expectations for yourself just let photography lead you and enjoy every step I really like the second pic! The vivid orange color against the dark background really makes it pop! I enjoyed the perspective of the first and third pic too. If you are trying to learn about photography you have definitely come to the right place. Everyone here is friendly and has great advice, my advice... explore the forums and keep on shooting

Hey welcome to dPS , you've certainly started off with a bang , and I would say by looking at these you are already "seeing" as a photographer , the above advice all rings true and taking lots of images and learning what you like is a great place to start , this site is full of great info and people and you are bound to learn here . I learnt more here in six months than I thought would be possible in a lifetime , keep shooting and sharing , if you want real critique and constructive criticism move yr post to a critique area and you will get the technical advice you are after . All the best . Enjoy.
