Hi Brodzo66. I love the photos, and the effect you achieved with the water. I was wondering if you would be willing to part with the exif info? I have been reading and practicing trying to get that glassy smooth water (ocean water) by using longer exposures in conjunction with late evening light and a polarizer. How did you get this effect? Keep up the great work!

Hi everyone , thank you all for yr kind comments , it was a great day and for anybody in Sydney join us next month , we have promised to keep it to a marathon next month to save the legs ha ha ha , Gulpa , you havent posted yet so I'm sure the tables will be turned and it will be I that is showing jealousy . Plangereis , I used a Canon 40D on tripod , no filter although I had an ND with me , first shot was done at f/22 , ISO 250 , EXP 0.6 ses and the second at f/16 ISO 250 and 1.8 secs EXP , I have found it a harder thing to get the ocean with a creamy look mainly due to the fact that waves are always changing and each one varies from the next where the water from a waterfall tends to be similiar all the time allowing for a more uniform capture , thats not to say it cant be done its just more hit and miss . I no longer use Bulb setting for long exposures preferring to go with shutter priority mode , hope this helps if there is anything else just PM me mate and I'll see if I can help . All the best guys .
