So I'm over here in Austin for a free photo expo and I became absolutely obsessed with the skyline here. So many different ways to capture it even if you move just a few feet or yards over. Unfortunately I was only able to capture it from the west side but either today or next time I'm back in town I'll definitely be scouting out new and better locations.

Why this image is so saturated I don't know. I pushed this image to it's extreme realism in Photomatix and never once touched the saturation sliders in either Photomatix nor Lightroom including the vibrancy slider. I was surprised by the amount of blue that ended up showing

The blue is well done and different. It's not something I think I'd like to see consistently, but it works for me in this shot.

Thanks Chip, I definitely agree that I wouldn't want that much of one color in most of my shots as well. Having to much of it can be overwhelming but I think when used sparingly and for the right subjects it can be interesting.
