Default Allow me to explain !

hello DPS friends, now I know I do not have to say this as most of us are adults and know life tends to have it way with us,, but I just felt the need to explain that I have very limited time lately... one of the tings I love doing is sitting down with a coffee or a cold drink and hangout on the dps forums and enjoy viewing and commenting in SYS ,,

Right now, I've little time to even take the camera out of the bag, let alone spend time here, which stinks, but it is what it is .. so I'm fine, just busy with work and family stuff.. if you don't see me commenting , it's not because I don;t want too

Oh and I shot this a few weeks ago .. Kinda cool .. still ID'ing it.. but I think Michelle said it was a Cormaran or something, to me it's just a really cool looking bird... not tack sharp, was shooting at 400m and had to manual focus and I'm not always spot on with it .. none the less ...

IMG_3410p

Keep shooting, I'll be back on regular soon, and I'm sure I will be doing quick scans thru to look at what's going on ..

Vin

I've been in much the same boat recently Vin so you have my sympathy. 12 hour working days with an hours commute at each end leave little time or energy for anything else but a quick flick through the site before going to bed. Never mind, this recession can't last forever can it?

Well Vin hopefully things will calm down for you soon so that you will be able to enjoy shooting and hanging out over here

Great bird shot you posted. Your shots have led the way a challenge to get a decent bird pic that is going on between a few of us (and anyone who wishes to join in)

We'll be here for when you pop in

No need to explain Vin, we all get busy and we do what we gotta do. Your bird is beautiful man. It looks like some kind of cormorant. It's a lot more colorful than the ones I see out here though. Great work.

I hear ya, Vin! I'm not on nearly as much as I used to be, either....so well understood. Pop in when you can, we forgive you!

As for your photo...it sucks. Why'd you even bother posting?

LOL!!!!! Did I have you going? It's absolutely phenomenal. The focus is stellar, the colors so rich.....I love it.

Vin, buddy, you were with me in spirit when I saw an egret at the park during lunch the other day. It was near the end of my break and I was in a hurry, I got up close by advancing behind a tree, but I was noisy and I know it heard me. As soon as I made eye contact it was gone, but I did catch a couple of shots in flight. I couldn't help but think this isn't how Vin would do it. Anyway, it's a start!
