What a gorgeous way to bring the series to an end. The detail and colour are so nice and the composition is excellent. This has been worth the wait and a few of us have been with you all the way. Your patience has certainly paid off and the presentation of this photograph is awesome.

Jake.

The Aspen tree is such a beautiful tree. John Denver mentions them at least once in a song, that
I remember. Their bark is so appaloosa like. Thanks for sharing!

great lighting and I particularly like how you've included the tree trunk in the background.

Well hello, Mr. Aspen, nice of you to finally join us! LOL!

As I've mentioned before, I have looked forward to your wonderful series of watching this aspen finally come back to life. Thank you so much for sharing each and every one, especially this one! I love the framing you did, too!

Thanks for following along the whole way, Jake. Now how about an idea for June?

You are right. Aspen are amazing trees. Usually an entire aspen grove shares one root system.

Thanks, Mike. The tree trunk just seemed like it needed to be included in the final shot.

Paul, you were hiding all month, I think. There are more on my flickr in the "Searching for Spring" set

Thanks, Susan. Maybe now I need to focus on getting some bird shots for our "shoot-off"
