Default First Portrait Shoot!

Yesterday I had my first portrait shoot. I'm building my portfolio, so some friends are volunteering. This first friend was indeed brave. I wasn't quite sure how they'd turn out, but the weather was gorgeous and he was quite photogenic (even if he didn't realize it!). We took these outside of our office building. I'm really proud of the results!

Georgia, these are well done and will be a great start to your portfolio. The last one is my favorite!

Thanks! I actually had to remove the last one because my friend didn't like it as much as the outdoors shots

Very nice shots..they should be on the cover of a magazine...the colour of his shirt really pops and adds interest to the photo...nice work.

It was the eyes that made the last shot for me. One piece of advice...take a look at it again and remember to watch your backgrounds! (I do the same thing all the time, so I know from experience)

Oh yeah, but we wanted that in there. It was for a professional shot and that picture in the background has our company's logo on it

Wow what a transition between the black & white and color, these are all beautiful shots, the color
really pops.

All of these portraits are very well taken and you should be off and running!

Thank you, I appreciate that! I'm going to start a business up, but I need to flesh out the portfolio a bit.
