I keep going back and looking at the second shot! I love the angle/compostion! Now, I'm curious as to how they were able to get red smoke coming out of the plane in the other image?!? lol
Great set of shots!

This air show takes place over the sea front area on the Estuary so I just wend down on to the beach and took the shots - I think the very blue sky and lack of horizon mean that it is almost impossible to tell where I am shooting from. I had a couple of great shots of the jets upside down but didn't post them here because it would just look like I had rotated them. Fortunately the smoke comes free like the Air Show

Great shots. I also like the second one best - it shows the skill of the pilots to manoeuvre in unison like that.

The photographer has no mean skill either

Well done.

Awesome captures Sheldon. I love watching these guys perform. When they show at Blackpool, they refuel at the place where I work, so I get to see them really up close. You really got some fantastic captures. Well done bud and thanks for sharing.

Jake.

We get them here 2 days on the trot every year & I'm sure most people come just to see them even though it's a 4 hour plus show - they are just amazing to watch - everyone is awestruck time and again
