Default Instead of the moon

Thick clouds and rain meant the full moon wasn't on offer this weekend, so I wandered up the creek, since the rain would make things interesting. The autumn leaves got a lot of my attention.

Leaf on the Leith

Leith Weir

Thanks for looking.

Boy, these two shots have just stopped me in my tracks (except to take time to list them as favorites in Flickr). The faint, leafy pattern left by previously fallen leaves is a beautiful frame for your single gold leaf. Gosh. What a lovely photo. And the colorful leaves scattered across your pallet is so pleasing to the eye with it's gentle movement towards the waterfalls. Who needs a moon, anyway? Not you, that's for sure.

I love the second image. Especially the waterfall. It's like if you look at it long enough you can see the water moving.
