Default First attempt at macros with the E-410

With the el cheapo macro filter on my 14-42mm lens, I went in search of the tiniest plants I could find in my garden. No tripod (DOH!) ,very overcast and a slight breeze. You can bet I'll be using a tripod next time out! That li'l yellow flower is no bigger around than the very tip of your pinky. The sassafras is still very small. What looks like green bananas is lupine. The green "tentacle"-looking stuff is sedum.

Thanks very much!

Ya know, Doug, this is one of those things from eBay that was on the back of a real cheap WA "lens". I picked it up a couple years ago for about $15 and forgot I even had it. I think I used it for a paperweight at one time.... really. I'm new to DSLR having come from the prosumer (Oly SP570UZ) so this was a real "experience" for me. Makes one appreciate something like the super-macro mode on the SP570UZ!

Thanks so very much for your encouraging words, Wal. To be sure, these are the best of over 80 shots.
