Default GIMP is AWESOME!

Behold, my beautiful black and white photo! And this was done with a pre-set in GIMP

Unreal

This photo has been getting allot of praise from my friends and family.

The original untouched version is in the same set of you want to see it.

wow - I should really learn GIMP....Is there a cliff notes version...?

p.s - if the original was not good the conversion would not have been... beautiful.

This is what I did:
Go to Tools and click on GEGL Operations. Click the drop-down menu and select c2g (which I assume stands for color to gray). Leave all the settings alone and just click OK.

Its that easy

I plan on experimenting with tweaking the setting later.

It's in the latest version, 2.6.6

If anyone wants the normal sized version of the image, you can download it here: http://picasaweb.google.com/rpgmaste...eat=directlink

It's a huge pit behind my friends backyard. He told me why it's there... But I forgot
It was something about the construction workers needing more dirt and that's where they got it from.
