Smile An Eagle Program

I am associated with Wind River Wildlife Rehabilitation. We did a program today at Thousand Islands Nature Center. This Eagle is Aroura. She fledged at Thousand Islands in 2001 and injured her eye falling out of the tree. She has been in our care ever since.

This is a picture of her good eye.

This is a shot of her seven foot wingspan.

In this picture you can see the difference between her good eye and the one that was damaged by a branch in the fall from the nest. She is upset because a person had encroched on her personal space.

This is Aroura at full height.

Hope you like them, thanks for looking!!
