Default Bare Path

I thought monochrome would be a good choice here. I think shadows are more willing to speak to us and tell their stories when the world is dark and light. This time of year is their time. So many of their outspoken brother and sister hues are sleeping, awaiting spring. The spring will bring the colors back in full variety. Shadows will once again be the silent partners, the supporting cast to the green grass, the yellow flowers and the blue, oh so blue sky. Until then, shadows will keep watch. Take a look for yourself, put the colors to bed for a short rest and give monochrome a chance to speak. What do you think?

The black and white really enhances the starkness of winter.

Default Colorful Fungi

On a photo walk through a local park. I caught this image. I didn't fully realize the beautifully bright orange color until I took a look at my downloads. Enjoy
