i like this picture. becasuce of its simplicity it the veiwer to the transport world in a quiet way.

1/180th at f9.5 iso 200 canon 30D 24-105 f4L is usm

I too like its simplicity...too often humans try to complicate things that need not be complicated.

I am wondering about your application of thirds; roughly so that your railroad berm was one third, the engine and overhead cables roughly another third; lastly a third of sky above that. Then crop an equal amount on the left to bring it into the current image configuration. Just a thought.

I like the openness of the shot also. The colors are nice with the clear blue sky giving a feeling of vast area around it. i think i would try cropping the telephone lines out and the pole. Leaving nothing but subject to focus on.
