Default Al Zubara Port (Qatar)

These pictures I took during my trip to Al Zubara Port in Qatar.
Critic & comment are welcome.

History:
The fact that Al Zubarah fort was built as late as 1936 is testimony to the turbulent relations it had with its neighbour and one time master, Bahrain. Until relatively recently, according to "Discovering Qatar", it was still used as a police post, with prisoners held in the top rooms of the towers. These rooms could be reached only by reached by a rickety ladder. Now only one of these top rooms is accessible - still by ladder.

Al Zubara Port #2

Al Zubara Port #3

Thanks

Very nice shots from an exotic and mysterious part of the world.

I wish I could go there.

Cheers,

Fabulous contrast between the neutral tones and the lovely bright sky!

Agreed. The perspective in the second one works very well.

Very nice shots...the sky is amazing. It's always good to see something of places we may never get to see ourselves...so thanks for sharing.
