Default You Chicken!

I believe this chicken is called a Silkie. It belongs to a friend of mine, and is one of three pet chickens. Apparently, from the research she and her hubby did, these types of chickens are really good for pets and are gentle enough little kids can take care of them.

That is funny looking chicken. But me being from Kentucky, we know what to do with a chicken like that. HaHa just kidding. Nice shot. TFS.

LOL! I've never heard of these kind of chickens before. I had askedmy friend if she was raising them for the eggs or to eat...she said neither, that they were pets. Never heard of a pet chicken before...

Nice shot of a strange bird. Are these babies or mature? The feathers look like hair or fur.

They are still somewhat babyish...not too old. I thought the feathers looked (and felt) like fur as well.
