Default Back to B&W

Well, I figured I posted enough coloured shots in the last few threads, so I am back in black (and white)! LOL. Thanks for checking my work out!

Hi Paul. These places are beautiful and peaceful. The water looks so calm. I love the 1st and the 3rd one.

Gorgeous, as always! Love the scenery in the first, the depth of field in the trees....I love the sea and all things boaty so I love the 3rd. And 4 is great! Nice cobweb! Tough to choose a favorite, but maybe the trees.......

Paul all nicely done, I would agree with Sparda the 1st and 3rd are exceptional shots. Well composed, good positioning and lovely scenes!

The sailboat really caught my eye. The contrast between the sail and the rest of the world gives it wonderful quality

Thanks windrider. That was the main reason I converted that photo. I had a funny feeling it would provide a great range in tone.

Hi Paul. I am glad that someone liked that shot. I think what I liked is, and Nathan de Gargoyle would appreciate this comment, the way that the base of the trees in the foreground form a strong triangle via the forest floor.

Thanks Sparda. As I said to Duane, these are two of my favs from this set. The first is a shot from Campbell Valley Regional Park, and the third a shot from Crescent Beach, both near the Vancouver area in British Columbia. Cheers.
