Default Angles and Shadows

Some more abstracts. These are the same subject, from different angles, with different focus points and different B&W conversion.

Angles and Shadows (1)

Angles and Shadows (2)

Thanks for looking.

One thing you have helped me see, Chip, is they way our eyes seem to enjoy traveling around a photo. Too much activity is distracting. To little is boring. I've discovered that when my eyes are moving at the pace of a stroll is when I enjoy a photo the most. Strolling with these. Photo #1: I especially like the way the bold white lines leads your eye off the "page" but the dashed lines draw you back. That back and forth movement is a pleasure. Photo #2: I really like the sense of foreground with lighter lines and background with the slight DOF that blurs the diagonal lines. It's kind of hynotic. Sweet!

Lindy - Once again, you're able to put into words what I can - at best - sense only subconsciously. Many thanks for making some sense out of this.

The only thing I can add from the perfect words already said, is a personal "Nice work, Chip!"

I admire your Eye Chip!!! You have the ability to see Abstactly and to show others how to see it as well. I can see what Lindyanna is talking about, Of course I could never have put it as intelligently and clearly as she has. I learned something by looking at your Wonderful Captures today!
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael
