Default Elements 8 question

I down loaded Elements 8 from the Adobe website as a trial version and decided to buy it. I wanted a disk for backup so I bought it from a local store to get the serial number. My question is, do I have to delete the trial version and then reload it from the disk. I seem to have the full version after 5hrs downloading from Adobe. I am also wondering if I can load it on another computer in the household. I hate to have to delete it because I started tagging some pics and figure that I may lose some of the work that I started. I may not also, since I have uploaded to photoshop.com. Just wondering what I should do

I would deinstall the trial version then install it new from the disk.

Always use the version you donwloaded. It will be the latest version of the software. You just need the box for the registration key. Other than that the disk is useless.

like fletch says, latest download is always better just install the serial key and you should be fine.

you could try and install on another pc but not 100% sure it will work, maybe install it off-line from the internet, enter the serial key and make sure your firewall blocks the programs access to the internet when your back on-line, it may or may not work.

Hi Grizcat 68 and welcome to DPS. Just put the code form you disc into the dowload you already have from the 30 day version and that simply transforms it to permanent, then away you go. You don't really need the disc at all. Thgen go wild with your camera and share your shots with us. Good luck. PAUL
