Default Lightroom White Balance Adjustments

I took a photo of my mom at Thanksgiving, without flash. As usually happens when I take a photo indoors without flash, everything comes out looking yellow (see first picture). I recently downloaded a trial version of Adobe Lightroom and used to edit. I used the auto white balance to remove the yellow. (See second picture) What do you think? Should I make any other manual adjustments to make this picture look more normal?

You can experiment with the luminace and saturation sliders and see if you can get the colors in her dress to be a tad more colorful. If you do too much it will have adverse effect on her skin tone however.

i think you did a decent job of salvaging the shot and i agree a little more adjustments will make it even better! try adjusting the white balance on the camera when you're not using the flash if you can too, it will save you post processing time

Lightroom is wonderful for that. It will let you batch adjust too, so if you shot a dozen shots you fix one and apply the setting to all the others. Why not set your camera for Tungsten rather than auto when shooting inside without flash - it will get you much closer. Don't know if you shot raw or jpeg, Lightroom will let you adjust some in jpeg but you have much much much more lattitude when you shoot raw.
