Hello all,
I apologize if this issue has already been addressed but to be honest I just didn't have a chance to go back through old posts and search. Anyway, I have been working as a second shooter on several weddings and have several weddings booked for next year. My main computer is a laptop and I am already realizing that the screen on this computer just doesn't cut it for editing. I am wanting to purchase a large monitor (20-24") that suitable for photo editing. I was hoping that some of you may be able to give me input as to what kind of specifications I should look for. FInally any brand preferrance? Thanks in advance!

Contrast ratio is important, as well as the type of backlight, the backlight of most monitors are fluorescent or led, both suffer from inconsisten color spectrum (CRI) issues. The really great monitors use several colored light sources to ensure consistent brightness across the entire spectrum.
