Default titl shift or not

its not overdone, in fact it's subtle.

because there's nothing around the subject, the focus isnt as evident. I do like it, though.

^agreed , it is certainly not overdone, and because of the lack of other objects theres nothing really obviously out of focus, but it still works, and i think it worked pretty well

Got to disagree. The blur looks all fakey to me. If the goal was minimalism I would have prefered to see a non blured version with some subtle dodging and burning to get the people to pop.
