Default Is GIMP Stripping My EXIF Info?

Somewhere after leaving the camera and being placed in "My Pictures" as JPEGS for uploading to SmugMug, I am losing all my exif information... Perhaps I have a setting wrong or something, but so far I am lost on this.

Any help would be grratefully appreciated

When saving, go into advanced options and make certain "Save EXIF data" is checked.

Lori, I'm not finding "Advanced Options" anywhere in File/Save As or anywhere in the Save work flow. I have looked under edit and throughout Gimp and no joy...

Hmmm, I get the window every time. It pops up and you select the quality, there's an advanced options in that window.

Click on 'Save As...', then select a filename and click 'Save'. The window that pops up next is the window Lori is talking about.
