hey there, i've read numerous tutorials on how to create a watermark action in photoshop, but none of them seem to be quite what i'm looking for. i want something like this:
![]() but whenever i try to use the action on another picture, the watermark seems to resize itself and doesn't sit in the right place on the photo, even though i made sure to create the watermark on the standard size photo that i upload to flickr. anyone have any tutorials or links to tutorials, or a solution to my problem? Thanks!

You may have better luck just doing this manually, create a text layer and set your font and font size. Type your words out, reduce the opacity then do a layer transform and rotate the text layer. Shouldn't take more then 15-30 seconds. You can try capturing those events on your own to create your own action to accomplish the same thing if you don't want to spend the few seconds to do it yourself. To get it to consistently placed in the center you may have to use the alignment tools for moving the text layer and doing an arbitrary rotation of 45 degrees.
EDIT: With out seeing the steps the action is taking to accomplish this it's impossible for us to figure out why it's not properly sizing. My guess is the lack of using alignment tools and proper font size for the resolution of your images.

I know in PSP you can create a watermark by following the steps above. and then adding it to the scripts menu.
What I have done is to create a blank image. Write my text in as a whatever i wanted to make it look like a signature (you can do whatever) and then add it in as a brush. As a brush you can control the size, angle, colors and anything else you may want
