Default I need help!

I have a photo that was taken on a VERY windy day, so the woman's hair is messy. They really want this photo, so I would really like to clean it up for her. Is there any way to save her hair? I'm no so great at photoshop, but I'm willing to learn if someone has any ideas! This is the original, i know there's lots of other editing to be done.

Default help...hopefully

Hey there, I just got Photoshop CS4 so I'm just testing the waters with the capabilities of the program.
Definitely don't work with the original photograph when editing but make some layers of the photograph and try to use some contrasts and other lighting choices and maybe that will help settle down the frizzies. If you really want to get rid of them I think there's a magic wand tool that can fix stuff like that. There are also in depth help tools on adobe.com that would probably be of more help.

By the way, the picture is lovely, if the family likes it the way it is then maybe just do some minor touch ups and call it a day!

If they're happy with it, don't mess with it.

Well she did make a comment about her hair and how windy it was, which is why I wanted to try and clean it up.
