Default How to boost only certain colors within a photo

~Catarina~ on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

This is kinda what Im talking about - it appears she severely boosted/saturated the blues and yellows - but how did she do it without affecting the models coloring? Also - is there a way to take one of those walls and change the color completely without screwing the texture etc? Im not messing with this girls photo - but looking more theoretically.

It's not Layers.

Its a bunch of VERY selective editing: its more than just one thing. If youre shooting RAW, you can do this using the HSL sliders (ACR v5+)

Layer masking a couple different hue/saturation adjustment layers will work just be sure to set the color that you want to adjust instead of master which will adjust all the colors.

Honestly there are a number of different ways to do what you are asking just experiment a little and see which one you like.
