Default pp or not?

i found this photo online and i loved how the suitcase looks so weathered and has so much texture. is this done in pp or is it the actual suitcase (maybe something could be applied to the suitcase to give it this look?). i have found several of these suitcases but they dont quite look like the one in the photo. i can tell that in the photo there has been alot of saturation and contrast added, but i still cannot recreate the weathered look...any ideas?

my money is on a combination of in the shot +pp.
To do it just in pp you could do a texture fill over the area and then mask/blend it in to the area. I guess it could be a dirty piece of styrofoam in the suitcase top.
