Default Post Processing Help.

Hey everyone,

I see alot of photographers that use this post processing technique and I think it looks amazing, and I really want to know how to do it (in photoshop). Examples. Her colors are amazing and her subjects eyes pop! I love the way she post processes! Can anyone tell me how she does it? A tutorial or something of sorts? Photo's are all her's and are credited to her. Thanks!

I took a look at the examples and it shows a variety of techniques. Which photo in particular?
Are you talking of the golden glow vintage sort of look?

If you go through her stream, numbers 1,5, and 7 of natalia senior class of 2010. And just all of her color photo's, they just pop and look absolutly beautiful.

there are a ton of images on there. My guess is a lot of selective saturating, de- saturating and sharpening. Most have a vignette on them as well.

There seem to be a few things she does, a kind of color pop, eye sharpening, etc. For example, on the eyes, she probably made sure her focus was on them (very important), then used dodging and burning, and selective shrpening. All these things can be done on your own or with an action. It's nicer to do it yourself - more control - but if you need help, try the CoffeeShop Free Actions, particularly the retouching ones. Rita is also very good at explaining how to do it yourself.

this is my favorite way to enhance color:

Turn Ho-Hum Color into WOW! with Photoshop

you could also play around with levels and get a pretty good result. try sliding the highlights and shadows tabs towards the middle a little.
