Default Do you like the overlay?

I took a picture of shells on a beach and added it as an overlay to a beach picture and I am not sure if I love it or hate it. They are the first 2 pictures on this posting. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Yikes -- I agree, the shells are very strange and distracting. I don't like them.

I also don't like the overlay. It makes a crisp, clear blue sky with puffy clouds look weird.

But you could use the overlay as part of a scrapbook page where you lay your beach photos over the page. Use a solid color background, overlay the shell overlay, then place your photos on the page. That would look cool.

I don't care for it that much. It is sort of a distraction to the blue sky. I would not go as far as to say I hate it, so I didn't vote in your poll.

Anne, Thanks for the idea of scrap-booking the pictures. That is really the sort of idea I was going for by incorporation multiple pictures. Thanks all for your replies and feedback! -C
