Default Anyone know how this effect was achieved?

Just wondering if anyone knows how this effect was achieved? I'm not sure how to explain the effect exactly...the picture just looks cool...just wondering if anyone has any ideas how it was done?

Unless I'm missing something, it just looks like someone was panning while they took the shot -- so the background has some good motion blur, while the subject (the car) is in focus, because the camera was moving at the same speed as it was.

I don't know...to me it looks like they've done something to the car itself...maybe made it bigger or put some kind of a slight bubble effect on it maybe?? I don't know...maybe it's just a really good shot and it's the lighting that is making me think there is something more to it??

Perhaps it was just a very close view with an ultrawide... this looks like an RC car, after all, so you could get very close.

It was shot with off camera flash. The shutter speed set low enough to capture the abient light in the back and still allow enough time to pan to get the blur. The flash froze the car. Shot with a wide angle (at an angle) to get the distorted perspective in the rear quarter panel /wheel area. And yes, it is an rc car.

Either an ultra-wide or, more likely, a fisheye.

It might be easier to say if the picture was still posted

Looks like somone took a white background.....threw in the Flikr logo in the bottom right side.....and put "this photo is currently unavailable" through the middle. But you know, it's a bit beyond my editing scope, so that would be my absolute best guess to achieving this effect.
