Question How do I achieve this effect?

I want to do this glowing look on senior pictures. Thoughts?

Looks like slight soft focus, bumped saturation and a small amount of softglow.

Softbox light and about three different strobes round the model to light hair and face too.

Yeah, I was going to say that 75% of that was lighting, not PP

I know you can do them in GIMP so you most certainly can do them in Photoshop. If you want to achieve the soft focus appearance when editing, you can just blur (gaussian blur) the photo ever so slightly. You can also increase saturation. And I don't know what it would be called in Photoshop but you should be able to select something to add a "softglow" effect. Does that help?

I'm not sure about the softglow. Can anyone tell me where it might be?

I believe in Gimp it is an "artistic" filter, if that means anything to a photoshop user. Sorry couldn't tell you where it is.

Thanks. I will try to find that softglow technique. We will see what I can do with it. Maybe I will post my efforts.
