Question Need help editing a picture of my dog

Hi, i have not used this great forum as much as i should(i read alot but post never) (btw, sorry if bad english, im a norwegian)

now the thing is: last year my good friend (the dog) died because of cancer, and i have digged in my catalog and found this image and i want to print this to a canvas, now the thing is, my photoshop skills sucks and i want a print this month, not in like 2-3months when i have learned it, i am giving the cr2 (RAW) file here : http://85.17.136.105/dogedit/IMG_4964.CR2

could somebody please edit a nice version or more of that?

i would be sooo happy

Well, here is the image but I'm not sure exactly what you want done to it? If you could be more specific I would be glad to try and modify it for you.

the picture looks a little dark on my monitor, hmm, what i want to the picture, well..
i would like the eyes to be clear and a "eye catcher" if you understand, overall i just want a better picture out of it, feel free to try something

sorry if u misunderstood my bad english, i dont want the entire image to be a eye-catcher, i want the eyes to be catchy, and i dont like that frame or the green colour, sorry

edit: the dog is still dark also

I am sorry I did misunderstand. Is this more like what you want? The eye has a catch light and I lightened up the dog.

thats more like it
now just one thing : is it possible to make the image sharper without making it look like crap?
btw, please mail me the full .jpg version to zaft@zaftsuse.net , or a PSD if you have that, anything goes
