HELP!!!! I Have tried everything to get my printer to print the same colors that I see on my moniter and it isn;t happening. Can anyone tell me what profiles to set to get the correct results? I am using adobe

Wulf is right. You will need to calibrate your monitor & your printer too.

Getting reliable and reproduceable results from monitor to printer in the home environment can be very frustrating. It took me three days of concentrated work to get my printer and monitor even close. Even with that, it still isn't perfect.
If you're very serious about matching you will need to purchase a colorimeter for your monitor and then calibrate the monitor. Then, from photoshop when you print you will have to load the paper's profile into the printer. (Each type of paper requires different profiles.) Depending on the printer, you will want to ensure that photoshop handles the color rather than the printer. Unfortunately, this is a super complex task mostly governed by the printer's dialogues, and I'm not familiar with Epson. Hope that helps a little. regards, emtab |
