Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is an ethical question, feel free to point me to the right direction. I've been dying to know how some of these images are created (photoshop/camera settings, additional equipments). But i have always wondered how these talented photographers have achieved these kinds of stunning images. Any of you from the inside and care to offer some directions? juggling amorology bonnie1 bonnie2 I'm not looking for shortcuts, but maybe anyone could help shed some light on the cross-processing techniques, etc. Thanks Last edited by tyrael07; 07-22-2009 at 04:38 PM. |

thank you fletch for the insight.
i was thinking that a good glass will be a great factor on these images. But i was curious on how they make the colors stand out ? I'd love to know how they play with levels/curves,etc. Is there any plug-ins that i don't know of? Is there any tutorials on how to achieve a similar effect? I'm quite familiar with other cross processing effects (lomo, vintage). But so far, i haven't been able to find tutorials on these types of effects. |

Its not really and effect, its just natural PP. I don't use curves and only rarely use levels as I use Camera RAW for most of my editing. There I would use the blacks, contrast, vibrancy and clarity sliders and every picture is slightly different.

sorry i'm in a rush so i haven't been able to read the other replies but to me they just look like photos taken with a wide aperture (f/2.8 or wider), and then in photoshop or other such program they've boosted the colours a little bit.

They've all been processed using photoshop actions
curves, levels and colour layers
