I ran across this info on a flickr group and thought that I would share (I hope this is the right place to do so.and also that I am not repeating info) I had noticed that my pics looked much more vibrant in PSE7 than they did when I uploaded them to flickr...this is apparently due to the color profile that you use for web pics. If you use the sRGB profile when saving your pics for flickr they will look much better.
Happy shooting! |

It's ok, it's always good to have a reminder of why pictures don't always look the same in your browser as they do in your editing program.
As a side note, if you use Safari or Firefox 3+ then you can turn on colour profiles which means that the pictures should look the same as in your editing program. Of course, that doesn't solve other people not having those browsers, so sRGB does tend to be better for online display.

In earlier Firefoxes the color profiles aren't enabled by default so you have to do it yourself.
In 3.5 it should be enabled by default. I think they're releasing it today.
