I have had a nightmare when sending pictures to my printer.
They look great on my monitor but soon as I send them to my Canon ip4600 they look darker. I have just ordered a Colorvision Spyder2 express as I heard this is a good budget setup. Should I be able to match my Screen picture to the printer output after setting this up? I use Adobe CS3 and Epson premium gossy. Carl

ColorVision Spyder2 Express just calibrates your monitor to a reference standard. Assuming your printer is accurate and your monitor is not then you should get a better color match after the calibration.
Otherwise, you may have to calibrate your printer as well. BTW, make sure you use the right printer profile. Check out the following as well: Steve's Digicams - Tech Corner - June 2005 http://homepage.mac.com/renard/ls/Ca...file_Guide.pdf |
