Sorry, no there is no way to do that. Capture NX2 has no way of doing any pixel manipulation. That means there is no way to do anything like cloning or cut & pasting like you can in Photoshop. That's why I also own PaintShop Pro. I don't do a lot cloning, but when I do, I'll get the photo the way I like it in CNX2 & then save it as a Tiff file & send it to PSP to do the cloning. Then I always send it back into CNX2 to convert it to a jpg.

Boy, I was hoping you wouldn't ask that! The following info comes from reading up on what some of the experts say.

CNX2 has advantages for converting NEF's to jpg's because it can read the info within the file better & does an all around better job of converting.

When it comes to TIFF files, if you convert 1 in PSP you'll end up with a jpg a lot smaller in size than if you do it in CNX2. This tells me that it threw out more information from the file. I suppose if you are just saving it for the web, it probably doesn't matter. If you are going to be printing it yourself, you would be better off keeping it as a TIFF & not doing the conversion at all. If you are going to send it out to a place that needs it in jpg format, I would say a file the size of 5.4mb's would be better than one that is 1.8mb's. Just my opinion of course! Try it out. Do a little experimenting. You'll see what I'm talking about.
