Quality Photo Prints

Any suggestions on getting quality photo prints?

I went to CVS - in the hopes that the machine would be decent enough to print my images. It turns out that some photos that I edited have pixelated areas on the print. This photo for example has some blue at the top left corner that came out all pixelated (blocky). Is it just where I went, or is this photo not high quality enough to be printed in 4x6??? Here is the pictures and some properties:

If you're using the full-res (2613x3900) file, then there shouldnt be a problem. CVS is a pharmacy chain: not a photo printer. Find yourself somewhere more specialized

I don't know if you are still looking for help on this or not, but I use Mpix.com ~ Their prices aren't bad, and they have a screen calibration CD that will help match your monitor to how their printers are set. I don't know how other photographers feel about them, but my clients have no complaints.

I like Bay Photo and they are recommended by many professionals and smug mug. They have great web ordering software. A++
