I use Dynamic Photo HDR from MediaChance.com and it does a nice job for me. Not a real steep learning curve to get going with it also.

It does HDR. but most people will use a plug-in like Photomatix instead because Photoshop's HDR is not quite as good as the dedicated software.

Photomatix isn't a plugin but different software altogether.

I also use Photomatix. It works better than Photoshop. After the hdrification I switch to Photoshop.
Some examples in my Flickr if you need reassuration of what the Photomatix/Photoshop combo can do.

There's a photomatix plugin for photoshop

All photoshop does is Exposure blending - which is enough for more realistic looking blends. Use HDR specific software (like photomatix) for a more dramatic, enhanced photo processing.

So it seems. Thanks for educating me.
Apparently there's one for Lightroom too. Gotta check them out.
