Default Printing

Hello!

I have two questions about printing:

Where is a good place to get prints that are high quality and reasonably priced? (Online)

And also, I saw a picture my friend had done that had a very cool effect to it. It's hard to explain, really. But it was a really really glossy and kind of metal and sparkly looking.

I looked up metallic paper but couldn't really find much about it.

Thanks!

I use ezprints through my SmugMug Photo & Video Sharing. You look better here. account, they offer Kodak Metallic paper, which is just an incredible way to show off your shots! It seems that a lot of the users here use Mpix.com - Home , I'm sure they offer the metallic paper as well.

The paper youre thinking of is called Metallic or Pearl paper. Its VERY cool, but I find it works best with either black and white or VERY saturated.

I use mpix or adoramapix. You're definitely talking about Metallic print paper. It can make things look almost 3D -- give it a try with some of your favorite photos, it's amazing!

+1 For Mpix & Adoramapix + the metallic paper, plus it has an archival length of between 100 to 200 years...but dont spill liquid on it....
