I did a search for this, but I wasn't able to find what I was looking for. I need a new printer, the free one that came with my laptop has up and died... again. I don't do that much printing of my photographs, but a few times a year I do print them for local art shows. I've recently been getting them printed at 11x17, and I really like the size, but is there a good economical printer out there for the home? I think I've seen ones at over $500, but for me, it's not worth the price. I'd rather spend the $20 a year on prints I'm doing right now.
Anyone have any experience with these? Have one they recommend?
edit: actually, in looking around, it seems a lot of people just order them online, is that what most people would recommend? I do about 10-15 prints a year on large format, and say 50-100 prints on normal sized paper.
