toy removal

Can anybody help with instructions on how I can remove the toy ring from the babys face. I have psp, photoshop and lightroom to play with.

I would use photoshop to do the edit based on the tools you have at your disposal. The clone tool is probably your best bet but it is a very large area to clone out and I can't see an obvious area to clone from.

If its your baby a re-shoot would be the fastest IMO.

Here's what I got:


What I did in Photoshop:

• Selected the shape of the head (for easier cloning... so you don't clone head color to the blanket area etc). Cloned to new layer from the forehead and cheeks to get the color and shape. Lightened it a bit since the forehead turned up darker than the other light areas of the face.
• Selected the white blanket part around the head and cloned from other area of the white blanket.
• Selected the light blue area of the blanket and some of the orange. Cloned from the available blue and orange areas. Brushed the black line in between manually.
• Selected some of the darker blue area and cloned there. Some brushing to get the line better.
