It was the gradiant bit I had problems with too. I think because I have Elements I'm not sure I can do a mask. I'm such a novice and just click around and see what happens - I need lessons.

The tutorial is very useful
But its written for advanced users who knows much of PS
Not meant for beginner like me I think
I managed to do it after 45 minutes of struggling
And I dont really understand few of the last parts
just after rendering clouds etc
I just follow the thing roughly and try to make it on my own
But it turned out ok i think

The original image was really big
had a nice time cropping it

Default ...an excellent tutorial

I'm realtively new to both photoshop and digital photography, but I've jumped in with both feet.
Here's the original:
Cowtown Walking Mall
followed by the one created using the well-written, comprehensive instructions:
Antiqued Cowtown

Cheers, mate.

I had a really hard time with this assignment! I'm a novice at photoshop and had difficulty with the masks and framing... But, I love trying out these assignments, they only help me improve my photoshop skills! Thanks!
