Default White Patch Problem

How can I eliminate the white patch on the helmet with Elements 9?

I would also like to know what to do to eliminate the problem when shooting.
Thanks ahead of time. You have helped me before and I appreciate it.

I'm not familiar with Elements, so I won't try to get into that, I'll leave it for someone who uses it. But as far as the helmet reflection goes, it's just going to have to be something you think about while you're shooting. Anything with a highly reflective bright colored surface is going to do that. A simple fix would just be having her turn her head more towards you so that the light isn't being reflected directly back to the camera.
