Hi all!
Today our little girl was in the mood for all kinds of faces and grimaces so the camera quickly made its way into the bedroom ![]() I managed to get the photograph looking the way we want it to be in Lightroom (see picture below) but somehow I can't help it not looking like the shadows are having a red tinge. When I go into PS and do a levels edit, I get the shadows looking black and the picture looks firmer and not wased out like it does in the Lightroom only edit. Is it possible to get the same effect by using Lightroom only? What am I doing wrong or not doing? Any help is much appreciated as we would really like the prints of our little one to look fab ![]() 1) Lightroom only edit ![]() 2) Lightroom edit with Photoshop Levels adjustment ![]() Here is the EXIF info just in case: Camera Nikon D80 Exposure 0.017 sec (1/60) Aperture f/4.0 Focal Length 50 mm ISO Speed 400 Exposure Bias -2/3 EV Flash Auto, Fired, Return detected Flash Mode: TTL, +1,3 EV Exposure Program Manual Lens 50.0 mm f/1.8 If you have any other comments to the shot I am all ears! Thanks!

Looks like white balance is off a touch in original. Use the white balance selector tool (next to the WB sliders in develop) to pick a neutral color or play with the sliders until you get what you're looking for. For the "pop" try playing with the tone curve.
