Default Help with Photoshop CS

Hi Everyone,

Quick question, how can I set up a work area at the bottom of my Photoshop CS like I had in my Photoshop Elements 7 so I can always see all my open photos? Is that even possible? I find Photoshop CS much harder to navigate in compared to elements... I had a few photos open but then then as soon as I click one to do something else I can't figure out how to reopen them. *blush* I'm that bad.

Thanks for ANY help you can offer!!

You can chose to have the photos in a tab view. Preferences>Interface>Open Documents as Tabs. This will allow you to easily go form photo to photo.

Thanks for your reply...

When I go to Preferences, "interfaces" isn't an option. I'm digging around and can't seem to find it... ??

Older versions of photoshop (I think the current one does too) came with a stand alone product called Bridge for browsing your hard drive. It looks like Adobe has incorporated a mini version into Photoshop CS5. Give this tutorial a look and see if it might be what you are looking for ...

Otherwise, see if you have Bridge installed. It's basically a file browser that plays well with Photoshop.
