Default Fashion Show

Last weekend I covered my first fashion show and I had no clue about stage photography. I need some help with this photo... How can I make it better...Especially the background...

Best bet for the background is to cut the model from the current BG and drop in something new. If you're using Photoshop CS5, I'd start with the Quick Selection Tool, but you're going to need to do quite a bit of work, I suspect.

yes i think that is a good idea, to cut or mask the model, using quickmask so you can match the sharpness or softness of the edge by changing the hardness of the brush you are using, then change the bg or blur it.
