Not sure if this is in the right place or not.
If you use an organizer that has color labels, what do each of your colors mean to you? For instance red-edit, yellow-print, etc. etc. What does each color mean or what do you rename them as?

It depends on the folder
![]() My color labels are context sensitive and I forget what they mean all the time, until I look only at a set of colors... For example, in my JR kyoto project folder (which has more than a thousand images), green is images with train exteriors as the primary subject, purple is people, red is images that have a shutter speed of one second, yellow is train interiors... But if you look at a different folder of mine (Which has maybe 100 images), you'll find that I've organized images that I have printed into purple and images I want to print into green. with none of the other colors being used. I find that I can use the rating system, to sort how I feel about images overall and use the color labels for other organization depending on needs at the time. I often use them for simple catagorization, |
