Default General photo processing

Hey folks. Wanted to first thank you all for all the advice/information you have helped me with in the past. It's always been informative, pleasant and encouraging.

But now I blame you all for making my photo's look bad. You guys are taking great pictures, and It's bumming me out. So please stop.

That being said. Can Someone direct me to a post or an article that points out a 'workflow' of sorts for post-processing?

See, the photos I see here really look great. That's the only way I can describe it.

Nothing that comes out of my camera looks anything like these. Even close. No matter how much time I spend framing and adjusting settings, once I finally finish shooting and bring my camera home, I end up with what looks like 'really good snapshots'.

So what's next?

I have a feeling that what's missing from my knowledge is how to properly handle the RAW data.

Anything you guys can throw at me will be read and appreciated.

Best Regards,
wing.

P.S. The reason I never really post any pics for you guys is because I never seem to shoot anything worth sharing.
