I use it out of Lightroom and don't have any issues. To recap, it looks fine after sharpening while viewing in PS but goes south when you export to iweb? I would look in PS and see if you have a PS sharpening process running when the export happens - could be doubling up the sharpening...

I would be willing to guess it happens when iWeb resizes the image for display. Just checking, but are you making your own website using iWeb or are you uploading to the MobileMe gallery? Just so that I'm clear on possibly where in the process it's happening. I've mainly just noticed that sharpening can really go south no matter what when iPhoto starts exporting.
Plus, I also use Nik Sharpener Pro without issues.
