@ mowais

When you do the number be sure to check the cost of ink. It can be very expensive.

I use a Canon Pixma ip6600D

In my opinion, Canon printers are best that offer many characteristics. Canon PIXMA iP4500 Inkjet Printer is the best because that offers many great features with its versatile IrDA, printing straight from your relevant camera.

I use my MG5250 in the office, I've never actually printed photos with it - in fact it's never even crossed my mind :P What are they like?

I have an Epson Photo R1800. The ink always seems expensive (8 cartridges) but the results are awesome! This printer can take rolls of paper, as well as print to A3+ size, borderless, so is quite a flexible option.

I use a variety of papers, including Ilford Gold Fibre (highly recommend this paper) and Smooth Pearl, plus I am eeking out the remnants of some lovely FujiHunt Matte paper. The results are fantastic and definitely rewarding but to get the most out of this learning about ICC profiles and the print package/drivers you use will be necessary. There is something quite satisfying about seeing your print materialise before your eye.

I love my printer, however it would be churlish of me not to mention that it's black and white printing is not to the level of it's colour. There are better printers out there for Black and White, but I can live with the results.

Cool hello

Printer......?
I have a lexmark P910 series (P915) printer, I used the installation disk on XP and it works fine, but when I use it on Vista it doesn't. So I downloaded the P910 series driver off lexmark.com and it said to remove all of the existing drivers etc, so I did and then installed the new driver, but it still doesn't work, I click print (it's set to print as default on the P915) and the print icon opens in the system tray, and it's status is printing, but it doesn't actullay print. I know everything is connected up etc, so what's the problem. It works fine on the XP pc, but when I click print i get a voice that says "printing started" and I get a little status thing, but on the vista one nothing, just the printner icon.
